Michigan remains among top states for corporate expansions

According to the story:

Michigan has been a top contender since Site Selection began tracking new and expanding corporate operations in 1997. Between 1997 and 2005, Michigan had 11,387 new projects, 3,400 more than second-place California’s 7,987.

“Because the state continues to be aggressive in courting new corporate facilities and expansions, it was one of only four states in the nation to attract more than 500 major projects in 2005,” says the magazine's editor Mark Arend.
