Detroit developer Doran honored by Urban Land Institute

Wayne Doran, the longtime leader of Ford Motor Land Development Co., will receive a lifetime achievement award Tuesday night from the Detroit chapter of the Urban Land Institute, a nonprofit group dedicated to promoting responsible development practices.

According to the story:
Doran helped build the Renaissance Center and the Fairlane Town Center mall, and played key roles in creating Ford Field, the Detroit Opera House and the McNamara Terminal at Detroit Metro Airport.
