Dearborn mayor says suburbia should care about urban core

Dearborn Mayor Michael Guido became president last week of the U.S. Conference of Mayors. He tells Free Press editorial writer Jeff Gerritt that people in the suburbs should care what happens to places like Dearborn and Detroit:

"You have to care. First of all, most of the great cultural and entertainment opportunities are in the city. People like my son, who's 19, want to move to Detroit. He thinks Detroit's cool"
