By 1909 the Packard Plant on East Grand Boulevard was fully
established. Around that same time, across the ocean, a style of life
was ending. Recently the two met for an afternoon of croquet. Edwardian
dressed Detroiters met in the run down, vacant Packard Plant for some
croquet. Things like this don't happen everywhere, remember that.
Excerpt:
Michael Doyle and his pals in Detroit decided to stage a
post-apocalyptic Edwardianpunk croquet match, so they snuck into the
ruins of the old Packard factory and had an afternoon's match while
dressed in Edwardian finery.
