Detroit artist and noted auto designer Camilo Pardo’s studio space in
Woodward Avenue’s Bankle building has served as a center point for
Detroit’s creative community.
According to the story:
Local art observers say Pardo has been a key figure in building up
Detroit’s creative scene, and is helping to boost the profile of
up-and-coming artists.
“Over the last 15 years, you can follow all of the most significant
cultural events by the evolution of events at his studio,” said Richard
Rice, director of Detroit By Design, an organization that promotes and
produces creative and cultural programming.
