We talked about one of the most substantial economic challenges facing
Michigan – the state's brain drain. As we transition from a
manufacturing-based economy to a knowledge-based economy, it is vital
we attract and retain talented young people. Studies show Michigan's
college graduates are increasingly choosing elsewhere to live and work.
These young graduates often choose where they want to live before they
look for a job. We talked about how we can make them choose Michigan.
Prosperity Agenda host Dan Gilmartin was joined by co-host Brian
Boyle, publisher at Issue Media Group. Guests included Lou Glazer,
president of Michigan Future, Inc., Tom Costello, president and CEO of
the Michigan Roundtable for Diversity and Inclusion, and Austin Black,
realtor and founding member of City Living Detroit.
