Space is filling up in the spring session of the Detroit Orientation Institute, a Wayne State University initiative that is an opportunity for new residents -- and lifers, too -- to delve into what's happening in the D.

The session includes a visit to T-Plex, a tour of the DIA and an in-depth look at crime and safety in the issue. Dates include April 15, 22 and 29; register at www.doi.wayne.edu.
