1001 Woodward gains new life with purchase by Papas

After its past owner defaulted on plans to convert it to luxury condominiums, 1001 Woodward has been purchased by Jim Papas of Pegasus Taverna and the Atheneum Hotel. He also bought the attached 12-story parking garage.
