Detroit-based Commodity Sourcing Group was named the nation’s fastest-growing inner city company, according to Inc. Magazine. Detroit tied
with Boston and Denver with five each for the most firms on Inc.’s 100
top urban companies list.

According to the story:

Commodity Sourcing Group grew 10,028 percent from 2000 to 2004, the
magazine says. Darryl Hart, the 44-year-old CEO, has invested tens of
thousands of dollars helping other businesses–including potential
competitors–achieve some of the same success he has.
