Funk Night returns with Rickey Calloway and Will Sessions Band
March 30, 10 p.m. – 4 a.m.
Rickey Calloway, live and in person from Jacksonville, Fla, backed by Detroit’s favorite funk band Will Sessions, sounds like a winning night on the dancefloor to us.
Not to mention heavy funk and sweet-soul music spun by DJ Head in his Funk Night debut and always funky Frank Raines. Strictly vinyl, naturally.
There will be local vendors selling fresh goods, including Calloway’s new 45 “Work It.”
Party is Friday, March 30 and starts at 10 p.m. sharp. It’s $5 for 21 and over and $10 for 18-21 year olds.
