Check Out 4th Fridays

Spend your happy hour with Model D this friday as we again sponsor DJs Liz Copeland and Clark Warner performing in Campus Martius Park as part of the monthly 4th Fridays event.

The second installment of 4th Fridays includes a day of music, arts, food, drink and city tours.

Participants
will be able to purchase and view art through an all-day arts marketplace
and Art on the Avenue – exhibitions on Woodward Avenue from
Campus Martius Park to Grand Circus Park sponsored by Edgewise.

Plus,
participating downtown restaurants, pubs and clubs will offer 4th
Fridays food and drink specials. Stop by the park for a map and list of
locations.

Here’s a brief schedule of the entertainment:

Lunch time

11:30 a.m.-2 p.m.
• Lions & Lords, a Detroit reggae band, on the Main Stage

After work party

5:00 p.m.-7:30 p.m.
• DJs Liz Copeland of WDET and Clark Warner spin on the Fountain Stage, presented by Model D

5:30 p.m.
• “Rediscover Detroit” walking tour by Inside Detroit

Evening

7:30 p.m.-10 p.m.
• Rock and Roll Hall of Famer Dave Mason, with Special Detroit Guest Rock Artists

9 p.m.
• Guided Downtown Pub Crawl by Inside Detroit –Leaving from Campus Martius Park
• 4th Friday Film Festival —produced by Prince Igor Films at the Biegas Gallery, 35 E. Grand River Ave., just a couple blocks north of the park
 
11 p.m.
• Afterglow Party sponsored by Edgewise at a downtown pub, TBA

4th Fridays with Ford is sponsored by Ford Motor Company and is co-produced by the Detroit 300 Conservancy and the Tourism Economic Development Council (TEDC).
