The Detroit Medical Center has opened a family medicine center in the Compuware building.

The
full-service health center will offer family practice physicians that
will serve employees at Compuware, other downtown businesses, downtown
residents and the general community. It is located at 97 Monroe St.
next to the Jimmy Johns.

The center offers a range of health
services, including routine medical care for adults and children,
well-child check-ups and immunizations, annual physical exams, sports
physical exams, women’s health care (full gynecological care and other
screenings), men’s health care and chronic disease management. Other
features include a fully implemented electronic medical record system,
same-day appointments upon request and a 22-minute average time in and
out. It is staffed by three physicians from the Stonebrooke Family
Physicians group. The office is open 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through
Friday.

The DMC operates nine hospitals and institutions, and is
a leading regional health care system. For information or to schedule
an appointment, call (313) 227-0065.
