DDOT returns popular event shuttles for auto show crowds

The park-and-ride shuttles so popular for events like last year’s Super Bowl XL are back for the auto show this year.

The
Detroit Department of Transportation is offering weekend bus service to
allow showgoers to park at the Detroit Zoo in Royal Oak or at The Henry
Ford in Dearborn for a $5 per car fee and take a shuttle to and from
Cobo Center.

Also, starting Monday, new parking meter pay
stations downtown are accepting Visa and MasterCard debit and credit
cards, the Municipal Parking Department announced this week.
