Cass Cafe

Dec. 12, 7 p.m.

We are huge fans of good food, nice beer selection, good company with people we like (or would like to get to know) and looking at fine Detroit art hung on the walls while we enjoy all of the above. You too can experience this wonderful combination of pleasures this Saturday at the Cass Cafe during the Andy-licious Mathew Sandwich art opening.

Expect paintings and drawings by Andy Krieger, Matthew Hanna and Matthew Lewis to be accomplished and distinctive works. Hanna and Lewis are grads of College for Creative Studies and Krieger is a self-described “proud but damaged product” of the Detroit Public Schools and an art school drop out. Don’t hold that against him. In fact, he works it to his advantage. Krieger’s as gifted as they come, as are Hanna and Lewis.

Opening reception is this Saturday, Dec. 12, 7-10 p.m. Cass Cafe is at 4620 Cass Avenue, in Detroit’s Midtown.
