Aug. 25, 8 p.m.
Unbelievably, our friends at Paxahau have been doing their electronic dance music party thing for 14 years. Though it just seems like the series of great events — which led to the group taking over production of the Movement Festival –yesterday.
The official party (and after party, natch) is Saturday Aug. 25. But we can all start dancing Thursday (Aug. 23) at Exodus in Greektown (529 Monroe St.) at the warm-up event, featuring DJs Chuck Flask, Keith Kemp and more. Doors at 10 p.m.

It’s $5 before 11:30, $10 after. This party is 21 and over.
Then Saturday the main event shifts over to New Center Park for Claude VonStroke (pictured) and Ataxia, 8 p.m. – midnight. All ages welcome. Best of all: it’s free.
The after party is at Northern Lights Lounge (right around the corner from the park at 660 W. Baltimore) with surprise guests. It’s 21 and up and first come first serve due to limited capacity. See you in line, kids.
