Midtown’s Inn on Ferry Street expands services
Already the most-recommended place to stay in Detroit on tripadvisor.com,
the Inn on Ferry Street has added two new guest services to its already
impressive list. The inn became WiFi-enabled on March 1, and has opened
an honor bar in the Scott House’s Parlor that offers its guests beer,
wine, champage, cordials and light snacks.
The Inn on Ferry Street is located on West Ferry and offers 40 guest
rooms located inside 4 restored Victorian homes and two carriage
houses. Steve Vidakovich, Inn on Ferry Street’s Director of Marketing
says, “The very reason the Inn was created from these historic
buildings was to provide the class of visitors that travel to Detroit
from around the world doing business with DIA, WSU, DSO, Charles H.
Wright Museum of African-American History, DMC and Henry Ford Health
Systems a lodging experience that meets their desires, but exceeds
their expectations.”
To this end, the inn offers extensive shuttle service, free parking,
newspapers including the Sunday New York Times, and a fully-stocked
business center.
