Comerica opts to keep its headquarters downtown
Bank shows commitment to Detroit by extending its lease through 2012 at One Detroit Center, where it has 1,000 employees.
“Comerica Bank, one of Detroit’s largest employers, will maintain its downtown headquarters through early 2012 after completing a five-year lease extension last week at One Detroit Center, where it has 1,000 workers,” reports The Detroit News.
With a major employer like Comerica Bank deciding to stay in Detroit, it could only be a matter of time before more businesses start to see the benefits of having a downtown office, and start to move in.
