Excerpts from the article:

Because Detroit is a sports destination, and offers rich cultural, music and automotive heritage, these videos present a balanced picture of what the city has to offer. They were produced in anticipation of the influx of visitor curiosity leading to Super Bowl XL. The videos are designed to raise interest in travelers and enhance the image of the city as a safe and attractive destination. In doing this, the videos hope to entice visitors to make the trip, plan more activities, stay longer, and spend more money. The new videos are an innovative way to convey the appeal of the city in an entertaining way, while delivering an accurate depiction of the city.

Videos include Campus Martius Park, the Detroit Riverfront, GM Renaissance Center, the Cultural Center, The Henry Ford, music, sports, theatre and more. The videos can be viewed by clicking “Detroit Videos” on the Detroit Metro Convention & Visitors Bureau’s homepage, www.visitdetroit.com.
