Video: Makeshift Detroit gives love to the DIY spirit

Getting your Trinity Audio player ready...

We keep running into young people who moved to Detroit from around the country. Packing up and hitting the open road always makes for a great story, which is why we’re digging this new video produced by Stephen McGee. Though this episode of the MakeShift Detroit focuses on transplants, we hear they’re looking for homegrown Detroit entrepreneurs to fill out their ambitious 12-part series on opening businesses in the D.

Excerpt:
This is the story of 4 people moving into Detroit to start a biz.
Continued documentation over the next year will follow the four; Two of
them turn internship into money making, one brings an established biz in
from the suburbs, and one who is taking a life long career and finding
ways to get involved in a community in need of action sports.
