Eight years running. That’s how long the
University of Detroit Mercy has been ranked in the "top tier" of the
America's Best Colleges rankings from
U.S. News and World Report.
This year is no different as the Detroit-based
Jesuit Catholic university notched a place in the magazine's 2009 edition.
UDM made the Top 25 in the Midwestern Master's Universities, making it the highest ranking school from the state in its category. It also hit second in the rankings for "Economic Diversity Among Top-Ranked Schools," ninth in racial diversity and 41st in economic diversity.
