Titan Energy makes mobile energy generator systems that are multi-functional. The company's innovations have helped them grow from two to 30 employees in the past two years.
Excerpt:
The company's Sentry 5000 unit brings power, water purification,
satellite communications, heating and cooling to emergency and disaster
scenes in a single unit that can be towed easily behind a small truck.
The unit is designed for the aftermath of everything from tornadoes
to hurricanes to earthquakes to explosions -- when power, phone lines
and cell towers are down, water is contaminated, temperatures are
extreme.
The Sentry 5000 provides 60 kilowatts of electricity, enough to
power 10 homes or 20,000 square feet of office space, and can purify up
to 3,600 gallons of water a day. It also provides heat or air
conditioning, compressed air and satellite uplink. A simple, one-button
start makes it operational within minutes allowing response personnel
to focus on more pressing on-site needs.
