The
Peoples State Bank celebrates its centennial this month at all of its branches, including its original home in Hamtramck.
The local bank is headquartered in Madison Heights now, but still maintains its original building at the corner of Holbrook and Jos Campau. It's one of the eleven branches throughout Metro Detroit.
Peoples State Bank employs about 140 people at branches in Hamtramck, Madison Heights, Southfield, Sterling Heights, Troy, Warren, Grosse Pointe, Farmington Hills and Fenton. The bank just opened its latest branch in Grosse Pointe in 2007.
