The Henry Ford Learning Institute and College for Creative Studies is going after the young creatively inclined people with its
Henry Ford Academy: School for Creative Studies.
The charter school recently reached out across southeast Michigan to Ann Arbor’s
3.7 Designs to create a new website for it. The new website will expedite applications for students interested in going to the academy in New Center.
The school will share space with the
College of Creative Studies in the Argonaut Building, which is undergoing renovation. The school is now recruiting students who will be in the 6th, 7th or 9th grades when the school opens.
“The idea is to get really creative students in the school to benefit from being part of CCS,” says Ross Johnson, CEO of 3.7 Designs.
This collaboration also shows how Detroit and Ann Arbor, two of Michigan’s top creative centers, are working together.
