Grosse Pointe-based Clean Emission Fluids has established a pump at NextEnergy that can custo-blend mixes of biodiesel. The company plans to hire 30 employees.

"We are looking to grow and we want to do it in Michigan
first and foremost," says David Shaw, a co-founder of the company with
Oliver Baer and two other anonymous investors.
The
company makes bio-diesel gas pumps that allows customers to mix
different types of bio-diesel, whether it's corn-made or white grease,
B5 or B100. The idea is the pump will allow gas stations to cut down on
the additional infrastructure needed to sell bio-fuel (Ie. numerous
tanks or pumps).
