Detroit City Council will consider granting Chrysler a tax break to add three new line models to its Jefferson North Assembly Plant on Conner Ave.

Chrysler's Governmental Relations manager Patrick Lindsey told
council members Wednesday the company would like a 50% tax break for
the improvements.
"If we don't keep this plant competitive we won't be in business and
so this investment will help us stay competitive and build some world
class vehicles that can compete in this marketplace," Lindsay said.
