Round-Up: Sassy Couture opens in Millender Center, Ren Cen Fitness replaces YMCA
A couple of new destinations for the Ren Cen crowd:
Sassy Fashion Couture has opened on the second level of the Millender Center. Stock includes jewelry, clothing in a range of sizes, make-up, shoes, accessories and novelty items. Hours are Monday through Friday 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. Call 313-962-0453.
Ren Cen Fitness has replaced the YMCA on the ground level of the Wintergarden. Open Monday through Friday from 5:30 a.m. to 8 p.m., the facility includes full lines of strength and cardiovascular equipment. More than 30 group classes — including yoga, spinning, aerobics, pilates, Zumba and boot camp — are offered per week.
Through the month of February, getting started costs just $20.11 — and the views of the Detroit River from the treadmills are free year-round. Call 313-285-8033.
