A foursome from the Meetery Eatery, the only Detroit venue registered
with Poetry Slam Inc., is headed to the National Poetry Slam
competition in Austin, Texas, in early August. There, they will face
off against more than 300 other poets from across the country and put
their literary — and lyrical — chops on the line.
