Annual Academy Awards didn’t see that Detroit-made rides brought the
stars to the Kodak Theater.

Daimler Chrysler shuttled stars to Hollywood’s like Rachel Weisz, and actress Uma Thurman in shiny black Jeep Commanders.

General Motors Corp. provided a fleet of Cadillacs to shuttle
celebrities. And Ford Motor Co. provided hybrid vehicles for celebs
that wanted to tout their green creds.
