Have you ever wanted to start a business? Are you a current owner? Open City Detroit is a free networking event that facilitates exchange about starting, operating, and growing a small business in Detroit. By providing an informal space for entrepreneurs to share stories, information, and resources, Open City aims to strengthen the local business community. Open City is partnering with Bamboo Detroit on this event, held Feb. 17, 6 p.m. at Cliff Bell’s (2030 Park Ave., downtown Detroit).

Panelists will include: David Anderson – co-founder of Bamboo Detroit; Hajj Flemings – founder of Brand Camp U; Tifani Jones Sadek – founder of Sadek Legal Services, PLC, a Detroit-based law firm that serves startups, small businesses, and entrepreneurs. Moderated by Amanda Lewan from Michpreneur and Bamboo Detroit.

Food Pop-ups will be coordinated by Tawnya Clark of FoodLab Detroit and The Batata Shop.
