Public Pool

May 19, 7-11 p.m.

A graduate of the College for Creative College, Michael McGillis has spent the last decade creating sculptures interwoven into the natural landscape. He has been noted among the likes of land artists such as Andy Goldworthy and Nils-Udo for his installations like “Flow Line” in Auvergne, France and “Wake” in the Franconia Sculpture Park in Minnesota.

That’s impressive. But McGillis has done more. Much more. No one knows exactly what he’ll install at Public Pool, which encourages secretive, stealth-like exhibitions. We can’t wait.

The storefront art space is at 3309 Caniff in Hamtramck.
