Artist Donald Anderson has painted along the Detroit River for years,
but the opening of the RiverWalk has made his “studio” a much more
happening place.

“This year, there is pure energy from so many people walking back and
forth,” says Anderson, about the new stretch of walkway that opened in
June. “It makes me think I’m missing something if I’m not here. This
has been the most exciting summer yet.”
