Study: Late summer Grand Prix generated $53 million for region

The Detroit Belle Isle Grand Prix on Aug. 31-Sept. 1 generated $53 million in direct economic impact for the region, according to a study released Wednesday by the Detroit Metro Convention and Visitors Bureau.
