Historical museum re-opens with homage to landmarks of the 1920s

The Detroit Historical Museum will re-open on Sept. 8 after its summer recess with several new exhibits, including one called "1920s: Detroit’s Building Boom," which celebrates the spectacular buildings constructed during that boom time.

Admission to the museum will be free the weekend of Sept. 8 and 9. For more information, visit the website.
