We talk a lot about cultivating startups in Detroit, but how are we doing to help these startups grow? According to a study by the Kauffman Foundation, fast-growing "gazelle" companies make up less than 1 percent of all businesses, yet account for approximately 10 percent of new jobs in any given year.
