Welcome to Model D TV, a new way to see Detroit differently.
Producer/director Tom Hendrickson took his camera to the grand opening last Thursday of the
Museum of Contemporary Art Detroit.
The
Midtown museum was packed with metro Detroiters, mingling and listening
to
Ghostly International DJs Matthew Dear and Ryan Elliot and eying the new exhibits. MOCAD acting director Marsha
Miro and Klaus Kertess, curator of the opening exhibit,
Meditations in an Emergency, discussed the museum and what it means to Detroit.
