When it comes to corporate events, Detroit entrepreneur Dr. Sirrita Darby believes in going beyond the ordinary. Her new venture, Elevated Sillage, is a mobile fragrance bar designed to transform events into unforgettable sensory experiences.

Sillage, a French term that describes the scent trail a perfume leaves behind, is at the heart of the concept. “I chose Elevated Sillage because the scent trails of your custom perfume will always hold an elevated memory in your mind about the event or business every time you spray it,” said Darby.

At Elevated Sillage’s mobile bar, guests can discover, design, and bottle their own fragrances, creating personalized event favors that linger long after the gathering ends. The service also offers add-ons like personal engraving, branded bags, custom scent names, and even desktop reed diffusers or essential oil necklaces.

Darby sees fragrance as a way to build connections. “We provide custom event favors in a truly immersive way that enhances brand identity and creates an innovative team bonding experience,” she said.

With more than 60% of event organizers seeking unique sensory experiences to stand out, according to Eventbrite research, Elevated Sillage is carving its place as a fresh, Detroit-born innovation in the event world.

By combining luxury fragrances with Detroit ingenuity, Darby’s venture is positioning the city as a hub for innovation in corporate event experiences.
