Today, the Wayne County Land Bank will release a list of their inventory of 7,000 tax-reverted parcels. Qualifying non-profit organizations and adjacent residential
landowners will be able to purchase property for a nominal fee as long as they
adhere to certain criteria that includes maintaining and/or
rehabilitating the property.
Properties will be disposed of on a first-come, first-served basis to qualifying entities.
The Land Bank is a collaborative effort between County Executive Robert Ficano and Treasurer Raymond Wojtowicz. The process begins today at 3 p.m. with an informational session for qualified non-profits. Further information is available at the Land Bank website.
