After two years as a stand-alone event, the
City Living Expo is joining the
Michigan Home & Garden Show.
The show, set for March 10-12 at Ford Field, is expected to attract up
to 40,000 visitors. “This will give Home & Garden Show attendees an
exposure to the city they wouldn’t normally get,” says Austin Black,
president of City Living Detroit, the nonprofit organization that
presents the City Living Expo.
The Expo will include showcases from many developments including the
Mid-Med, Grinnell, the Ellington and Merchant’s Row lofts, as well as
Harbortown and the Riverfront condos. Exhibitors will also include
LaSalle Bank, Preservation Wayne, Detroit Synergy and the Boll Family
YMCA.
On Saturday and Sunday, the Expo will offer a bus tour through
Downtown, Midtown, and Corktown that will allow attendees to see many
of these same developments.
Tickets to the Michigan Home & Garden Show cost $8 and are
available at Ford Field. Bus tours are included in the ticket price.
