Austin Black, one of the most recognized names in downtown-area real estate is striking out on his own with his own brokerage - City Living Detroit.
Black recently achieved his broker certification after working as an agent for Max Brock Realtors, specializing in residential real estate in neighborhoods like Midtown. City Living Detroit has landed agreements to manage or be involved with the sales and marketing of several Detroit developments, such as The Mack @Brush Park, Willys Overland Lofts, Brush Park Village North, and Centurion Place.
"I have a strong foothold in Midtown," Black says. "I would like to replicate that in Detroit's historic neighborhoods."
City Living Detroit will be based out of office space in Willy's Overland Lofts at 444 W Willis. It will employ Black and one agent, Jason Peet. The team will work on downtown Detroit, it's historic neighborhoods and communities along the Woodward corridor in southern Oakland County.
