Wayne State University McGregor Memorial Conference Center
The McGregor renovation project included restoring the luster to white marble exterior walls, replacing Mankato paving stones with granite on the patio surrounding the building, installation of double-pane windows for energy conservation, and replacement of rooftop skylights. Also replaced were heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. In addition, telecommunications and electrical systems were replaced and upgraded, sound systems were enhanced, and energy-efficient lighting was installed. New furniture, fresh paint, and new carpeting are among the interior improvements.
