Where to find public golf courses in the city
The blog, the “D” Spot Redeux, touches on golf and points out that there are six publics courses inside Detroit.
This weekend the pros were swingin’ their clubs at Oakland Hills golf course in Bloomfield Hills for the 90th PGA Championship. However, a few miles south, Detroiters were having their own tourneys and friendly games, shooting their own birdies and bogeys, and doing it all inside Detroit at one of the six public courses.

any other state! Here in Detroit, there are six public courses, and
diehard golfers have been found on the links every year during the
“January thaw”!
