NextEnergy has announced that wind turbine manufacturers from Germany and Texas are looking for local partners.
Excerpt:
A privately held
German company that has been manufacturing wind turbines since 1985 is
looking for a United States manufacturing partner. The company has
produced thousands of wind turbines in the 250-kilowatt range and
recently started producing 600-kilowatt machines. It plans to produce a
one-megawatt model within two years.
The
company is looking for an assembly site of 10,000 square feet, with a
25-ton overhead crane and $250,000 worth of assembly gear.
Also looking for an investor is the wind turbine manufacturer Eneco Texas LLC. The
company says its Wind Amplifier Rotor Platform wind turbine design
offers more power in less space than traditional wind turbines.
