Overlooking one of New Center's busiest corners through massive street level windows in the Fisher Building, is Pure Detroit, the only store that matters when shopping for "all things Detroit." Not your typical souvenir shop, the interior deftly contrasts the historic details of the lobby in place since the late 1920's, with sparse finishes and functional displays. In addition to being one of the best gift shops in the Metropolitan area, Pure Detroit is best known for suiting up Detroiters and non-Detroiters alike who are drawn by the private label tees, trucker hats, hoodies, totes, and under garments. Covered in national and local magazines, featured in countless newspaper stories, and sported by local and national musicians and celebrities, Pure Detroit merchandise gives all Detroiters a reason to wear their "313" t-shirts with pride.
