In September
we did a piece on a Dutch artist who came here to salvage wood through the Detroit Unreal Estate Project. Diederick Kraaijeveld was looking for material to do three "Icons of Hope" made almost entirely from wood taken from Detroit. The are making their debut now in Amsterdam in the show "Salvaging Detroit City."
